Hocus Pocus Printable Coloring Sheet

Winifred Sanderson and her sisters Mary and Sarah have been delighting fans for over years in the Halloween movie “Hocus Pocus”! It’s one of my favorite movies and I plan a Hocus Pocus themed trick or treat party every year! Last year, we even add a bit of magic from Hocus Pocus 2 to celebrate.

This year, I’m excited to add this free printable Hocus Pocus coloring page as well as my new printable Hocus Pocus trivia questions and answers!

“It’s Just a Bunch of Hocus Pocus” is one of the most famous quotes from the movie. Max Dennison doesn’t believe any of the stories about the Sanderson witches and the curse that was placed upon them 300 years ago.

He then lights the Black Flame candle and resurrects the Sanderson sisters to wreak havoc on Salem, Massachusetts. It’s up to Max, his sister Dani, and a talking cat named Thackery Binx to figure out a way to get rid of them.

Hocus Pocus Coloring Page

I drew this Hocus Pocus coloring page in Procreate then created a spell-tacular printable for you to download and print as many times as you would like! The coloring sheet features a bubbling cauldron, tons of magical details, and of course, the Sanderson sisters’ silhouettes!

I didn’t want to make it a full Sanderson sisters coloring page, but I wanted their hair silhouettes to look like they were in the smoke of the cauldron. When you color them, they pop!

Printable Hocus Pocus Questions

It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE Hocus Pocus fan, and we love to host Hocus Pocus movie nights and even a Hocus Pocus themed trick or treat every year! I even dress up as Mary Sanderson and convince my friends to dress up as the other Sanderson sisters.

I created this printable trivia quiz so that you can use it for your movie nights or Halloween parties, too! And who knows, if you read the rest of this post, there might be a few hidden answers for some of the trivia questions!

Hocus Pocus has become a cult classic in recent years, and there’s even a sequel (Hocus Pocus 2) that was released on Disney Plus in 2022. In the original movie, wickedly hilarious Sanderson sisters, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy, are resurrected after a virgin lights the black flame candle. I mean what could happen? It’s just a bunch of Hocus Pocus!

Printable Hocus Pocus Quiz

The witches take siblings Max and Dani, and their friends Allison and Thackery Binx (who is a talking cat cursed by Winifred Sanderson) on a spooky adventure filled with laughs and scares! This trivia game covers the first Hocus Pocus movie, but I did sneak in a question about Hocus Pocus 2.

I have tried to curate a list of trivia questions with general knowledge for new fans of the movie, as well as some hard ones for those of you that have seen Hocus Pocus dozens of times. From iconic quotes to memorable scenes, to little known trivia facts that might stump you, I came up with the ultimate Hocus Pocus quiz! There was even one in there that I didn’t know until I found it!

Not to give away the answers, I have covered them up in the images of this post. Don’t worry, though – they’re all at the bottom of each card!

Hocus Pocus Trivia Questions

Here are some of the trivia questions that are included (there’s 32 questions in all):

• What does Mary Sanderson ride instead of a broom?
• In what town does Hocus Pocus take place?
• What was the original title of the movie?
• What actress plays Sarah Sanderson?
• What is the name of the zombie that is resurrected by the witches?
• What city were Max and Dani originally from?
• What actor provided the voice for Binx?
• Who lights the black flame candle?

​There are 4 sheets of questions that are sized to fit 8.5 x 11″ printer paper. I prefer my Canon craft printer that prints BORDERLESS sheets – it allows you to take the artwork right to the edge of the paper! You can print the quiz at home and cut out the trivia questions and answers as many times as you want!

Printable Bluey Word Search

Bluey is my kids’ favorite cartoon on Disney Junior. Heck, it’s my favorite cartoon. I watch it by myself! Bluey and Bingo Heeler are definitely the most lovable cartoon characters on television in a LONG time.

Everything is about Bluey over here. They want to try Australian foods. They use the same phrases as Bluey and Bingo. They wanted Bluey valentine cards. They play pretend games – and want all of us to participate. The list never ends.

I will have loads more Bluey printables to post, but first up is this Bluey Word Search. Whether you’re looking for a rainy day activity, a classroom game, a fun travel game, or a Bluey birthday party activity, this word search is perfect!

Words Included in Bluey Word Search Printable

This printable word search puzzle is suitable for younger age kids learning to recognize letters and words, or preschool kids that are able to find words backwards. I have included the main characters in Bluey: Bluey, Bingo, Chilli, and Bandit Heeler.

There are also some of my favorite phrases and items to find from the show: pavlova (a yummy meringue dessert popular in Australia), “wackadoo!” (an Australian slang phrase), takeaway (takeout food), and Unicorse (a toy puppet from the show).

How Can I Print the Bluey Word Search?

I’ve had quite a few questions about which printer I use that prints right to the edge of the paper (borderless printing) – it’s a Canon craft printer and I love it! It’s so popular that it sells out all of the time, so if you see it in stock, grab it!

The word search is sized for an 8.5×11 sheet of plain paper, and works best if you have borderless printing enabled (although regular printing is fine, it will just shrink a little bit).

Bonus: I have included the answer sheet for you to download. If you have younger kids that want to help, they’ll be able to find the word search answers and all of the Bluey words!

I also have more puzzles and printable templates that you can print! Choose as many as you would like and print them out to share with your kids’ friends and teachers.

Free Bluey Valentines

It’s no surprise that my kids (and myself) are HUGE fans of Bluey! If you’re reading this post, you probably are too!

Last year it was everything Encanto for Valentine’s Day, and this year six-year-old Bluey and her four-year-old sister Bingo are the favorite Disney characters. My kids (both the little kids and teenagers!) begged to have their own Bluey valentines!

I designed these Bluey and Bingo inspired printable valentines for them to take to school, share with their friends, and send to our family members! They turned out really cute, and the kids are all super excited to use them as their Valentine’s Day cards this year.

Because I have a 7-year-old and 5-year-old, each of them wanted to have a different sister on their valentines. So I made a Bluey version for my daughter:

And a Bingo version for my youngest:

Printable Bluey Valentine’s Day Cards

To make these FREE Printable Bluey Valentine Cards for kids, you’ll need:

• Cardstock Paper
• Laser or Inkjet Printer (have you seen this crafting printer on Amazon? It’s the one I use for EVERYTHING!)
• Scissors (or my favorite Cricut paper cutter/trimmer)

Tips for Printing Your Own Bluey Valentines

You can print them at home or take them to a local print shop. For the best results with printables, you’ll need a quality inkjet or Laser printer. I use a Canon inkjet craft printer for all of my free Valentine’s Day printables, and I love it! I would also recommend using cardstock paper, so they will be more durable than printer paper.

Also, don’t use sharpies to write on the back of your printable valentine cards! Your writing may bleed through depending on the paper you used. Use pen or light markers.

These printable cards are small and intended for an exchange at school or work. They are 3″x3.5″ and print 6 to one 8×5″x11″ sheet of paper. The PDF file is included for download.

The best part about print your own valentines? You can print as many as you need!

It’s no secret that I love Disney and am a huge Disney fan! I also like to make and wear creative and unique Disney shirts for all of our trips. As an annual passholder, I have visited Disney parks countless times. It’s so much fun to make Disney SVG Files and custom t shirts for my whole family to match the holiday, season, festival, or current favorite Disney character.

These Free Disney SVGs are also perfect to make printables, coffee mugs, water bottles, or other Disney themed crafts! With vinyl, paper, and HTV, you are only limited by your imagination!

Are you just learning how to use your Cricut or Silhouette machine? Here’s some basic information to get you started.

What is a SVG File?

SVG stands for “scalable vector graphic” and is a type of file that you can resize for any project and the integrity of the design will remain the same. Instead of pixels, the image is created from vector points that contain a mathematic formula.

Those vector points are used as “cut points” by electronic cutting machines. In addition, they are PERFECT for using with Cricut Design Space because they are designed to change size as well as maintain different layers that can be set by the designer. Those are both useful features when cutting designs with your Cricut machine!

SVG files can be uploaded to your cutting machine program, such as Cricut Design Space or Silhouette Studio. That feature is currently FREE for Cricut users and is a paid upgrade with the professional version of Silhouette Studio.

If this is a new concept for you, Learn How to Upload SVG files for Cricut. Cricut is my favorite cutting machine, so a lot of my tutorials revolve around the Explore Air or Maker machines.

In addition to SVG (.svg) files, you may find that some of these free SVGs may also be offered as .png files, .dxf files, .eps files, or .jpg files. These files work well in other applications such as print then cut designs (like printable stickers) or printable-only designs.

You can also use Disney SVG files to create your own stickers for personal use using Cricut Design Space. I have a full tutorial about How to Use the Offset Tool in Design Space.

Where Can I Download Disney SVG Files?

There are many sources available to download FREE Disney SVG Files. Just as with other SVG files or downloadable products, you want to download them from reputable sources.

I prefer to download Free SVG files from known blogs or companies that have a social media presence or designer behind the brand (like me!) We spend a lot of time and energy to design Disney themed SVG files that are inspired by our Disney favorites, as opposed to copying images owned by others.

Hocus Pocus 2 SVG File

Are you excited for Hocus Pocus 2? After waiting nearly 30 years (yes, I feel SO old right now!) for a Hocus Pocus sequel, the new Disney+ movie with all 3 original Sanderson sisters is almost here! When Did Hocus Pocus 2 Come Out?

Get ready to light the Black Flame Candle! Hocus Pocus 2 premiered on Disney+ on Friday, September 30, 2022. The movie was finally confirmed in 2020 after years of speculation. Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker are all reprising their roles as Winifred, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson.

Hocus Pocus is one of my FAVORITE Halloween movies, and ranks at the top of the best Disney Halloween movies.

How to Make a Hocus Pocus 2 Shirt

Upload the Free SVG file to your cutting software and size it to fit your shirt or onesie. Make sure to MIRROR the design before cutting, and then cut when ready. The shiny side of the vinyl goes DOWN on your mat. Weed away the extra vinyl. Iron on or use the EasyPress 2 to press the vinyl design onto the shirt. Elsa Coloring Pages

Frozen and Frozen 2 are two of our favorite Disney movies! Who doesn’t love a queen with ice power that can also sing a Broadway song? My youngest daughter is especially obsessed, and always asks for coloring pages featuring Elsa and her sister Anna.

Since one of her favorite characters is Elsa, made a fun coloring page featuring a silhouette of Elsa with lots of snowflakes. Plus, I drew another free coloring page with the magical elements from Frozen 2. They are a fun way to entertain my 6 year old, but also have enough small parts that adults will enjoy them as well!

How to Make a Disney St. Patrick’s Day Shirt

Upload the Free SVG file to your cutting software and size it to fit your shirt or onesie. Make sure to MIRROR the design before cutting, and then cut when ready. The shiny side of the vinyl goes DOWN on your mat. Weed away the extra vinyl. Iron on or use the EasyPress 2 to press the vinyl design onto the shirt. Star Wars Trivia Game

Since the 1970s, Star Wars has played a major part in pop culture. The original Star Wars trilogy starring Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia, and Harrison Ford as Han Solo kicked off a sci-fi franchise that not even Yoda would have predicted. Multiple films, spin off series, and TV shows are now part of the Star Wars world.

I grew up with the Star Wars franchise, and I am a long time fan of the original trilogy. Now I get to share the entire Star Wars film series with my kids! We had a great time writing all of these Star Wars trivia questions and made some easy and hard. New fans and old fans alike will be able to test their Star Wars trivia knowledge!

There is a lot of inspiration to choose from, so we picked some of our favorites for this printable game. This Star Wars Trivia Quiz covers several movies including the Return of the Jedi, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, The Force Awakens, and the Disney+ series featuring my favorite bounty hunter, The Mandalorian.

Disney Ride Heights

List Updated for 2023 to include Tron Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT in Disney World!

The Disney parks are some of the most popular travel destinations in the world. Besides the obvious Disney characters, rides are a huge attraction for many guests. At Walt Disney World alone, there are over 50 rides, not including the water parks! Between thrill rides, nostalgic rides, and non-ride attractions, there’s something for everyone!

If you are traveling to a Disney park with young kids, keep in mind the minimum height requirement for rides. Knowing the ride heights before you go will help you to plan your vacation. It will also save you from confusion at the parks.

There are a lot of Disney “experts” that will encourage you to wait until your children are older to go to Disney. I loved traveling to both Disney World and Disneyland when my kids were really young. I traveled to Disney World several times when my youngest kids were only a few months old. The first time we went to Disneyland when my kids were 3 and 4! It’s just important to remember the Disney ride size restrictions.

I am going to list the ride heights out for each of the Walt Disney World theme parks, as well as Disneyland and California Adventure. You can use the below links to jump to the section of the post with the specific park you are looking for.

At the end of the post you will find two PRINTABLE ride height charts – you can print them out for your trip! Fold one for your backpack or laminate and hang behind your stroller tag. You will have easy access to a complete guide of ride heights in the parks. And, you won’t have to use your phone to find them!

Disney Rider Swap (“Rider Switch”)

My biggest tip for a Disney vacation with small children is to take advantage of rider swap when available. Rider switch passes are a great way for everyone to experience the ride, and are available to parents with kids that are too short to ride.

Rider Swap (Child Swap or the Rider Switch Pass) is available for many rides at the Disney parks. If your child is too short to ride, some of your party can ride while someone waits with the child. Then you switch!

The part of the party who waited will not have to wait in the standby line. They will be able to ride using the Fastpass Line or Lightning Lane. Rider swap policies have changed over the last several months, but you are generally allowed to have up to 3 people ride using the rider swap pass.

There are rules, though (and they are subject to change). All members of the party will have to approach the rider swap cast member. They are usually near the ride entrance under an umbrella. The cast member will scan the Magic Band or ticket of the people riding second, so they know who will return.

Since late 2021 (when Lightning Lanes began), the implementation of Rider Swap has been hit or miss. We have encountered different “rules” depending on the ride and cast member. According to the official Disney guidelines: “Please note that if the person in party 2 waited alone with the child or non-riding Guest, the number of Guests who may join him or her and ride again is limited.”

When riding with Individual Lightning Lane (ILL) passes, the entire family must must purchase Lightning Lane access before being granted Rider Swap. Otherwise, the first party will not be able to enter the lightning lane line. The official policy with these rides is not posted.

Are Disney Ride Heights Enforced?

In short, yes. The ride heights are posted to keep children safe. If your child appears to be too short to ride, a cast member will stop them before entering the line. They will be measured before being allowed to continue. In addition, another cast member may measure your child again before you board the ride vehicle.

Disney Height Requirements for Attractions & Rides

The good news is that majority of rides at Walt Disney World and Disneyland have no height restriction. Some of the popular thrill rides (like Rise of the Resistance, Expedition Everest, The Incredicoaster, and Rock n’ Roller Coaster) have height restrictions for safety reasons.

Walt Disney World Parks

Walt Disney World is home to 4 theme parks and 2 water parks that have varying ride heights. Below are all of the rides sorted by height requirement.

Magic Kingdom Height Requirements

Magic Kingdom has the most rides of all the Disney World Theme Parks, and has the most rides with no height minimum. If you are traveling with young children and can only visit one park, Magic Kingdom is definitely worth it. The whole family will love the rides at Magic Kingdom.

Toy Story Land is the most popular area for young children, but only one ride (Toy Story Mania) has no height minimum.

Tips for Disney Ride Height Restrictions

Please remember that minimum and maximum height restrictions are there for guest safety. I have seen many families get upset with cast members about a child not being able to ride. The ride heights are there for a REASON. Young children that are not tall enough to ride may be injured if they do not follow the guidelines.

Use rider swap when available. When my kids were babies, this was a great way for my older kids to ride while my husband or I changed diapers. Plus, the older kids got to ride once with mom and once with dad! It is also a great time time to visit favorite characters or play areas that older kids may not be interested in. The Boneyard at Animal Kingdom (Dinoland) is one of our favorites. It’s a huge play area!

Try to use single rider lines when they are available. If only a couple of people in your party want to ride, and you don’t need rider switch passes, it’s a great option! It’s usually a minimal wait to ride, but parties can be (and usually are) split up. I do not care to ride Test Track, so my older kids and husband use the single rider line. They are usually finished in 10-15 minutes. Enough time for me to shop at Creations by myself!
